Farnell Farm

Our venue Farnell Farm is a family run working arable farm of one hundred and sixty five acres. Located in Kent, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, where the High Weald rises out of the Romney Marshes.

Proud to be custodians of the countryside; a limited number of weddings are hosted at Farnell Farm each year, to ensure the land has time to recover, there is little impact on the local area and farming is still at the heart of our business.

If you are looking for an exclusive secluded venue to hold your wedding blessing or reception, Farnell Farm has a choice of stunning outdoor locations to form the backdrop to a truly unique wedding day, with glamping available for our couples and their guests.

Farnell Farm has great transport links; An hour and a half drive from central London. Headcorn station is 10 miles away with a direct line to London. {Taxi cabs would need to be booked in advance} Ashford International is 17 miles away which has Eurostar services, and 38 minute high speed train line to London St Pancras International.


Choose your wedding blessing location, then pitch your tipi or traditional Marquee and bell tents in The Twenty Five Acre Field, or for an outdoor wedding in a vineyard with the option of a woodland blessing choose Rolvenden Vineyard for your special day.

Ancient Bluebell Woods ~ Blessing Location

A path leads you through a sea of scented bluebells, to a natural clearing between silver birch, oaks and hazel trees. This romantic spot is the perfect setting for a wedding blessing in historical woodland.

Pookwell Lake ~ Blessing Location

Walk beneath a leafy canopy, until you reach the bank of Pookwell Lake, where a narrow path leads you under lush trees to a wide clearing on the edge of the water, surrounded by woodland. This peaceful secluded location is surrounded by nature.

The Twenty Five Acre Field

Sweeping up from Pookwell Lake, and surrounded by both fields and woodland. This large meadow boasts breathtaking panoramic views over the High Weald’s quintessentially English landscape, and offers ample space to pitch a large tipi, marquee or stretch tent, plus allow for all your guests to camp, and still have space to breath.
